A. Pull drawer out until it stops.
B. Lift front of drawer untilthe stops clear the guide.
C. Pull forward and remove the drawer.

Door removal is not a requirementfor installation
of the productbut is an added convenience.
To remove the door:.
A. Open the oven dooras far as it willgo.
B. Push both hinge locks down toward the door
frame to the unlockedposition.Thismay require
a fiat-blade sorewdriver. DO NOT UFT THE
DOOR BYTHE HANDLE!
C. Place handson bothsidesof the door, and close
theoven doortothe removalposition. ( Approximately
2.5 cm--5cm [1--2'1from theclosedposition.)
D. Liftdoorup andout untilthehingearmsdear the slots.

NOTE: The oven door is very heavy. Be sure you have a firmgrip before
lifting the oven door off the hinges. Use caution once the door is removed.

To checkif thebracketis installed
andengagedproperly,remove
thestoragedraweror kickpanel
andlook underneath the rangeto see
that thelevelingleg is engaged in the bracket.On modelswithout a storagedrawer
or kick panel, carefullytipthe rangeforward. The bracket shouldstop the range within
10cm (4"). If itdoes not,the bracket must be reinstalled.If the range is pulledfrom
thewall for any reason,alwaysrepeatthis procedureto vedfythe range is properly
securedbythe anti-tipbrackeL Nevercompletelyremovethe levelinglags or the
range will not be secured to the anti-tipdevice properly.

SLIDE RANGE INTO OPENING
A. Position the range in front of the cabinet opening. Make

surethatthe glass that overhangs the countertop dears

the countertop. If necessary, raisethe unit by lowering

the leveling legs.
Push while lifting the range into the opening, until the range is within
5 cm (2") of engaging the anti-tip bracket. Remove the protective trim
from the side of glass (If provided).

Countertop
Using the adjustable pliers or wrench, carefully

screw in the beck leveling leg until the glass
overhang comes to rest on the countertop.
Then carefully screw in the front two leveling
legs untilthe glass overhangtouches
the countertop.
Carefullypush the range intothe opening
untilthe countertop fully engagesthe
contToIpanel. The beck glassoverhang
shouldcoverthe cutoutopening.Plug
the range cord intothe receptade. Locate
the cord in the back of the range in a
manner that it will not touch or be moved
by the drawer.

againstthe end of FrontControlPanel

REPLACING
THE OVEN DOOR
NOTE:The oven dooris heavy. You may need help lifting
the door highenoughto slide it intothe hingeslots. Do not
lift thedoor by the handle.
A. Liftthe oven door by plating one hand on each side.
The door is heavy, so you may need help. Do not lift
the door by the handle.
B. With the door at the same angle as the removal position
(approximately 2.5 cm-5 crn [1"-2"] from the closed position), seat
the notch of the hinge arm into the bottom edge of the hinge slot.
The notch of the hinge arm must be f_lly seated into the bottom of the slot.
C• Fully open the door. If the door will not fully open, the indentation
is not seated correctly in the bottomedge of the slot.
D. Push the hinge

E. Close the oven door.
REPLACE THE STORAGE DRAWER
A• Place the drawer rail on the guides. Push
the drawer in until it stops.
B, Lift front of the drawer and push in until
the stops clear the guides.
C. Lower the front of the drawer and push
in until it closes.

FINAL INSTALLATION
CHECKLIST
• Check to makesure the circuit b reaker is closed(RESET) or the circuit f uses
are replaced.
• Be surepower is in serviceto the building.
• Check thatall packingmaterialsand taps have beenremoved.This will include
tape onmetal panel undercontrol knobs(Ifapplicable), a dhesivetape, wire ties,
cardboard andprotective plastic.Failureto removethese materialscouldresult
in damageto theapplianceoncethe appliancehas beentumedon and surfaces
have heated.
• Checkthat thedoorand drawerare parallelto each otherand that both operate
smoothly.If they do not,see the Owner'sManualfor properreplacement.
• Checkto make surethat the rear levelingleg is fully insertedintothe anti-tip
bracketandthat the bracketis securelyinstalled.
OPERATION CHECKLIST
• Turn onone ofthe surfaceunitsto observethatthe elementglowswithin
60 seconds.Turnthe unitoff when glowis detected.If theglow is notdetected
withinthetime limit,recheckthe range wiringconnections. If changeisrequired;
retestagain. If nochangeis required,have building wiring checkedfor proper
connections andvoltage.
• Check that the ovenconb'oloperatesproperly.If the ovencontrol doesnot
operate properly, r echeckthe wiring connections.
• Be sureall range controls are in the OFF positionbeforeleaving the range.
