5. INSTALLATION AND USE
5.1 Safety instructions
ELECTRICAL HAZARD
Danger from electric current!
• No contact with heat sources should take place with the power cord.
• Cord should not hang over edge of table or counter.
• Do not pour water into an appliance that is in operation or that is still hot.
• The device must be properly connected and comply with the regulations in force.
WARNING
In operation, the device can reach high temperatures. To avoid burns and accidents, do not use the device
in malfunction, and do not use spare parts that are not original.

If incorrectly installed, the device can be dangerous and cause injury. Before any installation, check the data
of the electrical network. Connect the device only when there is compliance. The appliance must be unpacked
and checked completely before connection by a professional.
5.2 Use
WARNING
The set-up of the device installation and maintenance must be carried out by professionals only.
• Do not leave the appliance running without supervising it.
• During use, your hands should be dry.
• Do not move or tilt the device during operation.
The water tank should be filled with cold water
Respect the minimum quantities of coffee to be brewed, as follows:
- For the CPC48 / CPC48S device about 20 cups or 3 liters
- For the CPC60 / CPC60S device about 20 cups or 3 liters
- For the CPC100 / CPC100S device about 40 cups or 6 liters

Before using the appliance, first clean the filter basket, the tube and the interior of the tank with a non-
abrasive detergent.
- Place the device upright on a solid, flat surface
- When using for the first time, brew for the first time without coffee: fill the tank as much as possible with
potable water, bring to the boil, once cool, empty the water and rinse properly.
- Fill the tank with cold water according to the number of cups required, respecting the minimum and
maximum levels.
- Check that the base of the tube is correctly positioned in the hole located in the bottom of the tank
- Pour ground coffee (approx. 6 g. Per cup) into the filter basket.
- Close the cover.
- Switch on the percolator with the ON button. On the switch, the heating indicator light comes on, and
indicates that the appliance operates as long as the infusion lasts. When the green indicator light comes
on, the coffee is ready and will automatically be maintained at the correct temperature.
- To heat the coffee, remove the submerged hose and the filter basket. Switch on the device. A minimum
quantity of coffee corresponding to 12 cups must remain in the reservoir.
- Serve the coffee: open the drain tap by pulling it forward and hold until the cup or container is full. Release
the tap, it closes automatically.
