Control options
Aidoo Pro Modbus Ventilation devices allow you to control different parameters of the
ventilation unit to which they are connected.
UNIT STATUS
The device enables the on/off control of the ventilation unit.
OPERATION MODES
The available operation modes vary depending on the unit. The following options are common:
•
Auto Mode. Activates the unit's automatic operation mode.
•
Recovery Mode (only available for units with a heat exchanger). The unit passes the outside
air through the heat exchanger, so the temperature of the indoor air supply is higher,
recovering part of the thermal energy of the extracted air.
•
Bypass Mode (only available for units with a heat exchanger). The unit does not pass the
outside air through the heat exchanger, so the temperature of the indoor air supply is lower,
cooling the room more efficiently.
•
Simple Ventilation Mode. The unit supplies outdoor air into the room.
FAN SPEED
The device allows you to control the speed of up to two different fans. The speed can be
selected by the user within a range of up to 7 different values, or it can be selected by the
system automatically by activating the Auto function.
OTHER SYSTEM PARAMETERS
The device allows you to read other system parameters, such as:
•
Air supply temperature
•
Air extraction temperature
•
Outdoor air inlet temperature
•
Level of CO2, PM2.5, TVOC, etc.*
•
Humidity
* The air quality information can come from the ventilation unit, if it has the necessary sensors,
or from the AirQ Sensor device, if it is installed in the system.
Note: The control options available will depend on the manufacturer of the unit and on the
model.
