Removal and Cleaning of the
Air Filters
If the air filters become
clogged with dust/dirt, air flow
is restricted and reduces per-
formance (efficiency).
Removing the Filters;
In order to access the HEPA
type filter ( filter A Fig N ) and
the air intake filter ( filter B Fig
N ) the front grill will have to be
removed (Fig M).
1a) To remove the Hepa type
filter, pull the filter handle
outward .
1b) To remove the air intake
filter: Simply pull the filter
handle upwards and pull
out the filter
BOILER
CHAMBER
WARNING - Do not attempt
to clean the boiler chamber
immediately after operating
the unit in Humidification
mode.
1. Open the top cover of the
unit, and remove the inter-
nal tank with care.
2. Remove the Boiler cover
and pull out the drain plug
(Fig O) to allow any stand-
ing water to evacuate the
chamber.
3. Clean the boiler chamber
with a damp cloth.
Care and Cleaning
Maintaining the Air Intake
Filter;
1) Dust/Dirt clogged in the air
intake filter can be removed by
vacuum cleaning the soiled areas.
2) The air intake filter can
also be washed in lukewarm
soapy water while rubbing it
lightly with a brush. A mild
detergent (dishwashing soap)
is recommended.
3) Rinse the air intake filter
well using clean water. Allow
time to dry before reinstalling
into the unit.
4) Replace the air intake
filter before resuming use.
IMPORTANT: Do not attempt
to clean or wash the HEPA
type filter. It must be replaced
every 6 months (depending on
usage). * If the "Clean Air purifica-
tion"icon (pg. 7) is displayed:
the 'Timer' and ' Increase ' button
simultaneously on the control panel
for 3 seconds to resume normal
operation.
4. Place a drip tray beneath
the bottom drain and remove
the small drain cap and plug
located at the rear of the unit
(Fig P) to drain out the remain
ing water inside the appliance.
5. After completely drain
ing the water from the unit
replace the boiler chamber
plug, drain plug and cap.
6. Replace the Boiler
cover and internal water
tank.
* If " Replace DMC Cartridge"
icon (pg. 7) is displayed:
the 'Timer' and ' Decrease ' but-
ton simultaneously on the con-
trol panel for 3 seconds to
resume normal operation.
