The dust fi lter removes the dust from the air sucked through the motorsweeper. The fi lter must be kept permanently
effi cient.

Caution|
If any dust comes out of the sweeper, the fi lter is dirty and must be cleaned.

Cleaning the panel type fi lter

Proceed as follows to clean the dust fi lter:
• Press button 4 rhythmically for about 10-15 seconds. this causes fi lter striker 5 to strike against fi lter 1 frame,
and shake dust off the fi lter.

Caution!
Do not keep the button pressed: this might cause damage to the electrical system.
• About once a month, remove fi lter 1 and clean it with a jet of compressed air or better still a vacuum cleaner.

Disassembling the panel fi lter

Disassemble the fi lter as follows:
• Remove the refuse bin.
• Unscrew both wing-nuts 2 and remove fi lter retainer 3.
• Take out fi lter 1.
