b) Charging devices with the powerbank
Wireless charging:
Activate the Wireless Charging Function by pressing the On/Off button on the Powerbank.
Now place your Qi-capable device centrally across the Wireless Charging Area. The charging
process starts automatically. If this is not the case, please check whether:
- the Powerbank is adequately charged. For this purpose, at least one of the status
LEDs must be permanently lit.
- a foreign body is located between the devices.
- your device is Qi-capable.
- where the correct position for wireless charging is located on your device. You
may possibly have to place it in another position.
To end the charging procedure, simply remove your device from the Powerbank or
deactivate the function by quickly pressing the On/Off button twice.
The range of the ambient temperature has an influence on the charging speed, as the
charge control of most mobile devices reduces the current consumption at higher
temperatures.
Cable-based charging:
The Powerbank has two USB A inputs (USB 1 Out / USB 2 Out).
The Powerbank also allows you to charge two devices simultaneously, for example, a tablet
(USB 1 Out) and a smart phone (USB 2 Out).
Please connect the included USB cable to the USB A port (USB 1 Out / USB 2 Out) on the
Powerbank and the other end of the USB cable to the microUSB port of the device to be
charged. Press the function button to start the charging process.
Of course you can also use your own USB charging cable to connect the Powerbank with
your device. However, please note that devices can only be charged with a cable via the USB
A port (USB 1 Out / USB 2 Out).
If a device is charged with the Powerbank and the capacity of the Powerbank is almost
exhausted, this is signalled by blinking of the last status LED. Please re-charge the
Powerbank.
Please note that while charging a device with a Powerbank, about 30% of the total capacity
is used up just through the charging process. This is due, for example, through the loss of
power from circuit warmth and voltage conversion.
The Powerbank has to be used regularly for optimum performance. If this is not the case,
charge the Powerbank fully at least every three months.
Make sure that the warmth created through the charging process can be emitted from the
device (ideally place the Powerbank on a firm and heat-resistant base while in use).
General information:
The Powerbank has a maximum output of 2.1 A, which is divided for the various charging
options for the devices.
The Wireless Charging Function always has priority when distributing the output. If a device
is therefore charged wireless, the cable-based charging process of a simultaneously
connected device slows down.
