Battery Replacement
1. Remove the smoke alarm from the mounting bracket by twisting
counterclockwise.
2. Take out the old battery and install a new one, making sure to match the
battery's polarities.
3. Test the alarm by pressing the Test/Silence button on the device.
4. Attach the alarm onto the mounting bracket by twisting clockwise until it
is firmly secured.
Note:
When you replace the battery, the LED indicator on the alarm will flash red
once and blue for a few seconds, indicating the alarm is back online. If the
LED indicator flashes blue for longer than two minutes, you will need to
re-add the alarm to the system by repeating the steps above.
