Nachdem Sie das Blitzgerät mit Ihrer Kamera verbunden haben, schalten Sie zuerst Ihre Kamera an und stellen Sie den Belichtungs- modus auf Programmautomatik (P) und anschließend das Blitzgerät auf ON (Ein). Der DÖRR Combi TTL Flash ist automatisch im TTL Modus. Wenn die Blitzbereitschaftsanzeige READY leuchtet, brauchen Sie nur noch den Auslöser Ihrer Kamera zu betätigen. 3.10 Blitzabschalt- Automatik Um die Batterien zu schonen ist der DÖRR Combi TTL Flash mit einer Abschaltautomatik ausgestattet. Sie wird nach ca. 3 Minuten aktiviert, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird. Soll das Blitzgerät wieder benutzt werden, so schieben Sie den Hauptschalter auf Off/ Aus und dann wieder auf ON/Ein. -

3.12 Belichtungskontrollanzeige OK Der DÖRR Combi TTL Flash ist mit einer Belichtungskontrollanzeige versehen. Sie zeigt Ihnen an, ob der angegebene Blitz für eine korrekte Beleuchtung Ihres Motivs ausreichend war, oder ob Sie die Aufnahme ggf. mit kürzerer Aufnahmedistanz wiederholen sollten. -

3.18 Langzeitsynchronisation Um bei schlechtem Umgebungslicht ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis von Motiv- und Hintergrundhelligkeit zu bekommen, empfiehlt sich die Verwendung einer längeren Belichtungszeit. Dadurch wird das Hauptmotiv im Vordergrund durch den Blitz beleuchtet, während der Hintergrund (der beim „normalen Blitzen“ in der Dunkelheit versinken würde) durch eine längere Belichtungszeit der Motivhelligkeit angepasst wird. -

4.4 AF Hilfslicht Auch der Makroblitz des DÖRR Combi TTL Flash besitzt ein AF Hilfslicht. Digitale und manuelle SLR Kameras benötigen für die korrekte Entfernungseinstellung einen bestimmten Mindestkontrast. Bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen kann es sein, dass der vorhandene Motivkontrast nicht mehr für eine automatische Scharfeinstellung ausreicht. In diesem Fall sendet Ihr DÖRR Combi TTL Flash bei leichtem Druck auf den Kameraauslöser ein Hilfslicht aus. - Page 9 1 Preface Thank you for purchasing the DÖRR Combi TTL Flash. After the flash is properly mounted on your camera, switch the camera on, select the automatic program exposure mode (P), then switch the flash unit to ON. The DÖRR Combi TTL Flash works automatically in TTL flash mode. When the flash READY light glows you need only press the shutter release button to start taking pictures. -

3.9 Color Temperature & Auto White Balance The DÖRR Combi TTL Flash achieves a color temperature of app. 5.500 K. The camera’s white balance will be automatically set to this color temperature. Mixed light can create tints. We therefore recommend to set your camera’s white balance manually to 5.500 K or to flash light symbol, depending on the camera model. -

Do not use shutter speeds shorter than the camera‘s x-synchronization for flash photography in order to avoid incorrect exposures. Using the DÖRR Combi TTL Flash in TTL mode the x-synchronization of your camera will be set auto- matically. -

In case of inferior light conditions, the contrast of the object may be too small for autofocus. In this case DÖRR Combi TTL Flash can emit a contrast pattern which is activated by pressing slightly on the camera’s shutter release button. -

3.18 Syncronización lenta Cuando la iluminación ambiental es insuficiente es difícil equilibrar el brillo del objeto y el del fondo de la fotografía. En estos casos se recomienda utilizar una velocidad de obturador más larga para obtener una relación equilibrada. De esta manera se ilumina el objeto principal en el primer plano mediante el flash mientras que el fondo (que aparecería oscuro utilizando los ajustes de flash normales) se adapta a la luminosidad del objeto utilizando un tiempo de exposición más largo. -

3 Utilizzo del flash 3.1 Inserimento delle batterie • Aprire il coperchio del vano portabatterie facendolo scivolare nella direzione della freccia. Il flash deve essere spento (OFF). • Inserire le 4 batterie Mignon (tipo AA) oppure batterie NiMH ricaricabili dello stesso tipo assicurando che siano a contatto con il segno +/- come illustrato nel vano portabatterie. -

Il flash DORR Combi TTL dispone di una funzione che lo consente di adattare l’angolatura di illuminazione del flash in corrispondenza all’angolatura dell’obiettivo con una lunghezza focale da 28,35, 50 e 85mm. -
