4. Checks prior to operation
4.1 Battery connection (only electrical models with electrical startup)
Before charging the electrolyte and
connecting the battery, check that the
engine switch is in the "OFF" or "0"
position.
1 The positive (+) terminal is connecting
in production.
Simply check that it is
firmly connected.
2 Connect the negative terminal (-), it is
delivery switched off to prevent battery
discharges or unwanted contacts from
being transported or stored.
NOTE: Observe the polarity of the cables, connect the red (+) cable to the
red (+) terminal of the battery and the black (-) cable to the negative (-) of the
battery.
NOTE: Be careful not to make any undesired contacts with the battery
terminals and cables, between them or against a metal part of the machine.
