HOW TO UNPACK THE APPLIANCE
The procedure for unpacking the machine is as follows:
1. Place the lower part of the outer packaging in contact with the floor.
WARNING: Use the pictograms printed on the box as reference.
2. Open the outer box.
3. Remove the accessories from the box and carefully lay them on the ground.
4. Take the machine out of the box.
WARNING: it is recommended that all the packaging components be kept for any future
transportation of the appliance.
CAUTION: these operations must be carried out using protective gloves to avoid any possible
contact with the edges or tips of metal objects.
PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
The procedure for assembling the appliance is as follows:
1. Remove the side brushes from the appliance and using the nuts and bolts supplied secure them to
the side brush supports (Fig.1).
WARNING: the fixing equipment is not supplied with the appliance.
2. Remove the control handlebar from its packaging and using the nuts and bolts supplied secure them
to the supports in the frame (Fig.2).
1
3. Turn the handlebars until you find the most comfortable position for using the appliance.
N.B. : the handlebars can be adjusted to two positions (Fig.3 - Fig.4).
3
4. Insert the drive belt of the side brush. Pass around the pullet in the right rear wheel, and around the
pulley in the arm of the side brush (Fig.5).
N.B. : during its path the drive belt should be rotated, the lower spine of the belt should come out
of the pulley of the belt tensioner.
5. To attach the side brush arm to the frame the two screws already on the frame need to be removed
(Fig.6).
5
6. Put the drive belt on the pulley on the rear right wheel, shift the side brush support arm forwards or
backwards to obtain the desired tension (Fig.7). Fix the arm by screwing in the screws that fix it to the
frame. Make sure that the sweeper turns freely.
N.B.: check that the side brush is rotating and operating correctly. The brush should turn in an
anti-clockwise direction when the machine is moving forwards, if this is not the case it means that
the belt was not fitted correctly. If the belt slips, the tension can be increased by pulling the screws
connecting the side brush support arm to the frame, the support moves forward and then the
screws are pulled once again.
7. Adjust the pressure exercised on the central brush, use the knob on the rear of the machine (Fig.8).

WARNING: turning the knob towards "+" increases the pressure on the brush, turning the knob
towards"-" decreases the pressure on the brush.
N.B.: excessive pressure can cause unnecessary of the central brush; increase the operating force
for the operator and could cause an increase in the dust cloud when being used .
8. If you need to direct the dirt towards the centre of the appliance, adjust the height of the side brush off
the ground using the knob on the side brush support (Fig.9).
ATTENTION: by turning the knob towards the arrow indicated by the symbol "+" the brush will
come closer to the floor, by turning the knob towards the arrow indicated by the symbol "-" the
brush will move away from the floor.
ATTENTION: if there is no need to use the side brush, it can be placed in a rest position (Fig.10).

The operator uses the appliance standing behind it, gripping the handlebar.
As soon as the appliance starts to move forward, the central brush and the side brushes start rotating.
WARNING: The maximum rung that can be overcome is 2.5 cm (Fig.1), while going in reverse it is
19 cm (Fig.2).
WARNING: If the machine is used in places where there is a risk of falling objects, the operator
must be provided with all the appropriate protection devices as laid out in the legal requirements.
Where there is bulky waste, in order to allow access for the central brush that will collect it, the front of the
appliance must be raised up by pressing down on the handlebar.
Periodically check that the debris hopper is full, and empty it if necessary.
WARNING: Keep in mind that the weight of the waste collected is proportional to the specific
weight of the material swept.
