Scratching
Scratching consists of producing a sound effect from a
track, by turning the motorized platter.
Place your index finger on top of the motorized platter and
make small, quick movements to the right and to the left.
You can repeat this scratch multiple times to create a
rhythm.
− Before scratching or mixing, make sure that you have
placed a felt slipmat between the motorized platter
and the vinyl record.
− When placing the vinyl record on the motorized
platter, do not force it. You risk damaging the center
of the vinyl record.
