4. Important safety instructions for this device
Attention! Updating the software may change the functionality and application of the device!
Attention!
• Do not place the device in an underground valve box or in a loca-
tion where your WIFI signal will be obstructed.
5. Additional information for this device
• If temperatures below freezing are expected, the timer should be removed from the tap and stored indoors
to avoid possible frost damage.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Used or dead batte-
ries must be removed from the appliance and disposed of properly.
6. Start up
Remove the device from the packaging and remove all packaging material. Remove the battery compartment
from the irrigation controller and insert 4 AA batteries. Ensure that the polarity of the contacts is correct. Then
insert the battery compartment firmly back into the Water Computer. Connect the connection socket to a pro-
perly connected socket.
