• For light curls and waves, select a shorter heat-
ing time or, if you would like distinct curls, select a
longer heating time.
• For fi ne, smooth or brittle hair, we recommend us-
ing a low temperature setting (130 – 170 °C); for
normal, thick or wavy hair, we recommend using a
higher temperature setting (190 – 230 °C). If nec-
essary, use heat-protection spray to protect your
hair from the heat.
• Always let your curls cool off fi rst before you con-
tinue styling them.
1. Connect the device to a properly installed socket that corre-
sponds to the device's technical data.
2. Take off the protective cap.
3. Turn the device on by holding the On/Off switch (E) down
until a signal sounds.
4. Use the time setting button (D) to set the heating time.
5. Set the number of rotations for winding up your hair strands
with the rotation setting (F).
6. Use the button for the setting for the direction of rotation (B)
to select a direction of rotation.
7. Use the button for the temperature setting (C) to select the de-
sired heating temperature. The selected temperature will blink
on the display. If no other setting is selected, the heating pro-
cess will begin. The current temperature, which is increasing,
will appear on the display as the device heats up. The device
is ready for operation once the previously set temperature ap-
pears on the display again. This may take a few seconds.
8. Divide a strand of hair with a width of no more than 2 cm
and place it in the middle of the hair chamber (4) at the top
of the device. Make sure that you maintain a distance to
the scalp of at least 3 cm! Make sure that you properly
