Before connecting the device, unwind the mains cord com-
pletely.

Allow the device to cool off completely before you stow it.
Handling the device properly
•
Only use the device in enclosed areas.
•
Only connect the device to a properly installed socket. The
socket must also be easily accessible after the device has been
connected. The mains voltage must correspond to the data on
the nameplate of the device. Only use proper extension cords,
whose technical data correspond to those of the device.
•
Check the device for damages prior to each use. The device
may not be used if it, the mains cord or plug exhibit visible
damages. Do not use the device if it malfunctions, has fallen
down or in water.
•
If the device is defective, do not attempt to repair the device,
the mains cord or the plug yourself. Electrical equipment
may only be repaired by qualifi ed professionals. In the event
of damage, contact the customer service department.
•
Do not use any additional accessories. Only use the en-
closed accessories from the manufacturer.
•
Turn the device off and pull the mains plug out of the socket
– if you are not using the device,
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– if liquids or debris end up in the device,
– before a storm,
– before you clean it.
•
If you wish to remove the mains plug from the socket, never
pull on the cable, but always on the plug.
•
The device must be deactivated when you pull the mains
plug out of the socket or insert it in the socket.
•
Never submerge the device in water or other liquids! Ensure
that the device, cable or plug do not fall in water or are at
