TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBABLE CAUSE
Engine problems.
Unit components are
frozen.
Inadequate water supply.
Kink in water inlet hose.
Water inlet screen ob-

Pump sucking air. (Prime

Not in high pressure mode. Insert high pressure nozzle.
Obstructed or worn spray
nozzle.
Damaged or obstructed

Worn seals or o-rings.

REMEDY
Refer to the Engine Manual accompanying your unit.
Allow to thaw. If any part of the unit becomes frozen,
excessive pressure may build up in the unit which could
cause the unit to burst resulting in possible serious injury to
the operator or bystanders.
Ensure hose is 3/4" diameter and incoming water supply is
turned on.
Remove kink.
Remove screen, clean or replace.
Tighten all water intake connections.
Eliminate leaks in intake line.
Move adjustable grip on dual lance counterclockwise to
high pressure.
Remove, clean or replace.
Remove, inspect, clean or replace.
Replace packings.
Repair or replace.
Change pump oil. Fill to proper level.
Contact Service Department.
Detect and correct unloader problem.
Detect and correct pressure switch problem.
Replace safety relief valve. NEVER run unit without safety
relief valve. Doing so can cause an explosion!
Check, submerge if necessary.
Inspect, clean or replace.
Inspect, clean or replace.
Clean or replace.
Open adjusting knob. Refer to "Cleaning w/ Detergents".
Remove, clean or replace.
