WARNING
Risk of fire! Risk of explosion!
Never use damaged, defective or deformed accumulators.
Never open or damage the accumulator or let it fall on the
ground.
Never charge the battery in an environment with acids
and easily flammable materials.
Protect the battery against heat and fire.
Battery to be used at the ambient temperatures between
10°C and +40°C only.
Never put the battery on heaters and do not expose it to
strong sunlight for a long time.
After being subject to heavy load, let the battery cool
down first.
Short circuit - do not bridge the accumulator contacts with
metal parts.
The accumulator must be packaged (plastic bag, box) or
accumulator contacts must be sealed up for accumulator
disposal, transport or storage.
INSTALLATION
1) Installing the charging station
1. The charging station can be set up near the
shed or the house. When laying the boundary
wire, at least 1 m of straight wire without
obstacles must be laid in front of the charging
station.
NOTE: The boundary wire in front of the
charging station should be 1 metre long,
straight and without corners or obstacles to
ensure proper docking.
2. The charging station must be set up on a
relatively level floor. It must not be set up on
a sloping surface or in a place where the plate
will bend.
3. We recommend placing the power supply
unit at least 30 cm high on the wall and
routing the power cable outside the working
area of the mower if this is not possible.
4. Strip approx. 10 mm of insulation from one
end of the boundary wire:

5. Boundary wire: Insert the wire into the
wire terminal (RED) (OUT)----, then pull the
boundary wire through the slot under the
charging base plate.
6. If you have laid the boundary wire in the
working area, cut off any unnecessary wire.
Strip about 10 mm of insulation from the end
of the boundary wire and insert the wire into
the wire terminal (black) (IN) ----.

Warning: This power tool generates an electromagnetic
field during operation. Under certain circumstances, this
field may affect active or passive medical implants. To
reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury, we recommend
that individuals with medical implants consult your physi-
cian and the manufacturer of the medical implant before
operating the machine.
Please note: In accordance with the German Machine
Noise Protection Ordinance of September 2002, this
appliance may not be operated in residential areas on
Sundays and public holidays or on working days from
8:00 pm to 7:00 am. In addition, the operating ban applies
at the following times of day: from 7:00 am to 9:00 am,
from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Please also observe the state regulations on noise
protection!
2) Installation of boundary wire
1
First lay the perimeter wire, then secure the charging
station with the pegs and a hammer.
1. When laying the boundary wire, use a
distance gauge to maintain a distance of 30
cm between the wire and the boundary. Each
cable peg should be placed at a distance of
approximately 80 cm. If the ground is uneven,
the peg density can be increased accordingly.
4
2. If an obstacle is at ground level and safe for
the mower to drive over, such as a driveway
or pavement, then a distance of only 8 cm
is required between this and the boundary
wire.
7
It is not necessary to lay a boundary wire for all objects,
such as trees, garden sheds, greenhouses, raised beds and
heavy plant buckets.
3. Requirements for the island installation and
the size of the narrow channel:
NOTE: If you do not want the mower to drive
over your lawn, e.g. flowers/shrubs/trees etc.,
you can lay the boundary wire as an island.
The mower can drive through a narrow
passage 0.8 metres wide.
