Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Switch the machine immediately off when blocked.
Unplug the machine and remove the stuck piece of
wood.
Handling equipment to be used only when handling
the machine.
The machine has been designed for DIY to cross
cut fi re wood.
Cutting logs with diameter of more than 135 is not allowed as
such workpieces would not be safe to hold.
The minimum diameter is 30 mm (pieces of wood
with a smaller diameter cannot be caught to barbs
and may slip off the cradle).
Workpiece diameter:
Minimum 30 mm
Maximum 135 mm
The maximum length of the material cut is 1,000
mm and the minimum length of the material cut is
500 mm.
As there is no exhauster, the circular saw for fi re
wood may only be used outdoors.
Only such workpieces that can be safely laid and
held in the cradle may be processed.
Using HSS saw blades is not allowed as such steel is
hard and fragile.
Risk of injury as a result of saw blade breaking and
saw blade pieces being thrown away.
The use in accordance with the designation also
includes the satisfaction of manufacturer-specifi ed
conditions for operation, maintenance and repairs
and following safety instructions included in the
manual.
It is necessary to follow the safety regulations
applicable for operation and other generally recognised
occupational therapy and safety technique
regulations. Any other use is considered a use in
confl ict with the designation. The manufacturer will
not be held liable for any consequential damage of
any type: the risk will be borne by the user.
Optional changes to the saw exclude the liability
of the manufacturer for consequential damage of
any type.
The saw may only be made ready, used and
maintained by persons familiarised with such acts
and instructed in possible risks. Repairs may only be
executed by us or by customer services specifi ed by
us. The machine must not be used in an explosionrisk
environment and must not be exposed to rain.
Metal parts (nails, etc.) must necessarily be removed
from the material cut.
Safe removal of possible blocking
Unplug the machine.
Check it and localise the blocking.
Remove the blocking while considering all safety
instructions.
Check the machine visually and make sure it is not
damaged. In particular, the saw blade must not show
any sign of damage.
Contact the Technical Assistance (see Servicing) if
there is any doubt regarding the blocking removal or
full operability.
Maintenance
• Check all screw and plug-in connections and protective
equipment if fi rm and tightened properly
and whether all moving parts are running smooth
whenever the appliance is to be put into operation.
• Prior to every use, visually check the machine to
rule out any defects, in particular on the power
cable and the plug.
• Before pressing On/Off , make sure the saw blade
has been fi tted properly.
At all times, keep the machine, ventilation slots, in
particular, clean. The sawdust ejection and/or dust exhauster
should be cleaned at regular intervals. Never
spray water on the machine!
All moving parts should be treated with environmental-
friendly oil. Never use any grease!
Check the wear of the saw blade. Blunt saw blades
must be sharpened. Clean saw blades covered with
resin.
The ball bearings of the saw shaft are protected
against dust and are therefore service-free, i.e. the
bearings need not be lubricated.
Repairs and works specifi ed in these Instructions may
only be performed by qualifi ed authorised staff .
Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance
can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insuffi cient maintenance
and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and
injuries.
