At this point, your remote trainer is ready to use. The transmitter is factory set to Mode 1, but you may wish to
change the mode to fit your situation. See below for an explanation of mode options.

PROGRAM THE REMOTE TRANSMITTER
NOTE: The Transmitter is factory set to Mode 1. The mode of the Remote Transmitter can be changed
to fit your type or style of training.
TO CHANGE THE MODE:
1. Move the Toggle Switch to the Left position.
2. Press and hold both Side Buttons for approximately 3 seconds. The unit will
display the current mode number (1 to 7) and a "PROG" icon.
3. Release both Side Buttons.
4. Use the up/down Side Buttons to select the desired mode according to the
chart below.
5. Press and release the Left Button on the Remote Transmitter to make your mode selection final. The mode
selected will flash three times, and the unit will return to the previously selected stimulation level.

NOTE: Modes 1 to 5 provide 15 levels of static stimulation, which correspond to the Side Button setting;
00 = tone or vibration depending on what mode is selected.
* For a two-dog operation setup refer to STEP 7.
** An ID Code is the signal identification between the Remote Transmitter and Collar Receiver. The GS-8100
has the flexibility to program two or more Remote Transmitters to the same ID Code, allowing them to
control one Collar Receiver. There are 10 programmable ID Codes available.
