Pulse function
Use Pulse function for brief operation or when there are large-sized ingredients
suspended.
- To switch to pulse blending mode during the blending process, turn the speed
control to Pulse mode and wait for 1-3 seconds, then release. Repeat this
process in 3-4 cycles until you got the required blending result.
Stir Stick
You can use the stir stick to process very thick or frozen mixtures. The stir stick
helps circulation by preventing air from being formed. It is used to stir and push
ingredients into the blades when the blender is on.
Note: Use the stir stick only when the lid is assembled correctly to the jar to avoid
the stir stick hitting the blades.
- If food is not circulating, remove the filler cup; put the stir stick into the jar
through the lid opening. Hold the top of the stir stick and move it up and
down, turn around or push it toward the side or corner of the jar to help
ingredients down into the blades.
- If the finished ingredients will not be served at once after blending, you can
use the stir stick to blend it before drinking.
Dry mill use
You can grind coffee beans, nuts, seeds and spices, etc. in the dry mill (see below
table). All large products shall be cut into 1x2cm pieces before grinding.
Products
Nuts (peeled)
Cheese
Coffee beans
Pepper
Sesame
Rice, wheat
Sugar cubes
Dry bread
Soya beans
Tea leaves
Hard spices
Pre-soaked spices
Seasonings (Chili, onion, parsley)
Garlic
Onion
To avoid damage to the plastic surface of the dry mill, always grind cloves, star
anise and anise seeds combined with other products. Hard spices, such as cassia
bark or cinnamon sticks, should be cut into 1x2cm pieces. Do not use the dry mill
to process extremely hard products, such as nutmeg.
1.
Put ingredients into the dry mill.
2.
Screw the dry mill base onto the cup until it is tight.
Note: Ensure the silicone gasket on the dry mill is set in place.
3.
Place the dry mill onto the blender base and turn clockwise to lock it.
4.
Insert the power plug into the mains supply outlet.
5.
Switch on the unit to its "2" speed or use the pulse mode.
6.
After operation, turn the speed control to its "0" position and unplug
the blender.
7.
Remove the dry mill by turning it anticlockwise.
8.
If ingredients stick on the wall of the cup, switch off and unplug the unit, then
remove the pieces that are stuck with a spatula or a spoon.
9.
The dry mill can be used as a container. Turn it over and close with the lid.
Note: For grinding, do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 30
seconds. Let the main unit base cool down and rest for at least 3 minutes
then resume.
