3. Battery
1. Open the battery compartment at the back of the device.
2. Insert one CR1225 battery according to the correct polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment.
4. Operation
1. Press the on-off button to switch on the device.
2. Press the temperature selection button to select the temperature
measuring unit.
3. Insert the tip at least 1 cm into the substance to be measured.
Press the hold button to freeze the measurement on the display.
Hold the button pressed to enter the min/max mode.
4. Switch off after use. Note that the device will automatically
switch off after 15 minutes of inactivity.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not
use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.

WARNING
Do not puncture batteries or throw
them in fire as they may explode. Do
not attempt to recharge non-
rechargeable batteries (alkaline).
Dispose of batteries in accordance
with local regulations. Keep batteries
away from children.
WARNING
Remove the batteries if you are no
longer using the device or if the
device is left unused for an extended
period of time.
Remove used batteries promptly.
