Careless handling of the inverter can lead to fi re, electric shock, or even death.
This product is intended for indoor use and it is forbidden to expose it to precipitation, water
immersion and exposure to moisture. Temperature in the area of product use should be be-
tween 0 ÷ +40
C, and relative humidity should not be higher than 70% and no condensation
O
of steam may occur. Should the product be stored at a temperature outside the operating
range, it is required to bring the product before the use to a temperature within the operating
range.
Ensure adequate ventilation at the area of product operation. Do not cover the vents, at least
10 cm free space should be provided around the product. During operation, the product be-
comes hot and it should not be placed on surfaces that may be damaged under temperature.
It is not recommended to place the product on fl ammable surfaces. Do not use the product
in a combustible or explosive atmosphere.
Do not place the product on a housing of acid battery. When using such a battery, a gas con-
taining hydrogen may be released which may ignite upon contact with the product.
The product when used should be watched at any time.
It is forbidden to connect the product to the battery that is being charged. It is forbidden to
connect the product to a source of voltage other than a 12 volt battery. It is forbidden to
connect the product to electrical chargers. It is forbidden to connect the product to a car sys-
tem through the so called lighter socket. System connected to this socket does not provide
suffi cient capacity to supply the inverter. Use of inverter connected to the lighter socket may
result in damage to car's electrical system and increases the risk of fi re and electric shock.
This product is not designed for use by persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities
and person with no experience or knowledge of the equipment. Unless they are supervised
or trained how to use the product in a safe manner so that the risks involved are understood.
This product is not designed for use by children. Children should not play with the product.
Unattended children should not perform cleaning and maintenance of the equipment.
PRODUCT HANDLING
Product workplace recommendations
Place the inverter on a smooth, hard and non-fl ammable surface.
Inverter's housing should not come into contact with heating elements or be exposed to heating ventilation.
Inverter should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
Recommendations relating to connection of electrical appliances to the product
Due to modifi ed characteristics of changes in output voltage of the inverter, it is not recommended to connect the following ap-
pliances:
- small devices supplied by battery with built-in charger, e.g. fl ashlights, shavers, etc.
- some battery chargers for power tools, such chargers have warning about dangerous voltage on the charger contacts,
- electrical appliances that can be supplied only by sinusoidal waveform, contact the manufacturer of electrical equipment for
additional information.
Before connecting an electrical appliance to the inverter, it is required to make sure that power consumption of this device does
not exceed the rated (continuous) power of the inverter. Do not be guided by the value of peak power because this power can be
supplied by the inverter for a very short time. Inverter's overloading will trigger its protection and will cause a break in operation.
Excessive overloading of the inverter can lead to its damage.
Connecting the inverter to the battery
Before connecting the inverter to the battery, it is required to make sure that the battery contacts provide proper contact. Battery
contacts must be free of impurities and must be intact.
It is required to make sure the inverter switch remains in "OFF - O" position.
