Assembly Instructions (With push button and electro brake unlock lever)
Drill two holes into the wall, one of them for the electrical wire and the other one for the brake, as indicated on the
RT26 (Fig. 3).
Note: The hole for the brake on the back side of the aluminium casing comes
with a 10 mm. diameter guide.
This guide allows installing a sheath protective tube (guide) between the outer part and the moto-reducer
installation site, allowing an easy manipulation.
Drill five holes to fix the casing to the wall (Fig. 3).
Electrical Connection
IMPORTANT! For permanently connected equipments, the connection device should be easily accessible.
Connect the ground wire.
Unscrew the push button fixing screws and remove the push button.
Connect the 230V feed wire with the middle connector (1) of the push button.
Connect the no. (2) and no. (3) wires that come from the moto-reducer with the two push button external
connectors (see the moto-reducer electrical diagram to see the correct rotation sense of the pulley). (Fig. 5)
Connect the ground wire to the terminal under the cover's hinge and fix it tightly with the teethed washer and the
screw. (Fig. 2)
Connect a 230V wire directly to the wire (4) that comes from the moto-reducer. (Fig. 5)
Assemble the push button.
In the case of installations with electronic switch board the push button connectors should be connected
directly to the switch board terminals.
If this were the case, no electrical feed should be connected to the push button.
Note: The wire should not have voltage when these tasks are performed.
Connecting the Sheath with Brake Unlock Cable
Place the sheath on the housing and insert the metallic cable in the lever hole.
Move the lever to its place.
Place the set screw on the cable and approach it to the lever.
Tighten the set screw with a 8mm. wrench. (Fig.4) Move the tightener on the back side of the moto-reducer brake
and tighten the sheath.
Pull the lever and move the device manually to check that the moto-reducer in unlocked.
If the moto-reducer were not completely unlocked, adjust the tightener or the set screw until the unlock and lock
functions work correctly.
The installation is complete.
