Step 1 Connect the Cable interface on the MT130U to the coaxial cable interface on walls
using a coaxial cable.
Step 2 Connect the Ethernet interface on the MT130U to the Ethernet interface on the
computer using a network cable.
Step 3 Connect the Power interface on the MT130U to the power socket using the power
adapter.
5 Getting Started
After connecting all cables, the POWER indicator turn on and then off, and the DS, US and
ONLINE indicators blink for some seconds, which indicate that the MT130U is being
activated.
Until the POWER and ONLINE indicates keep steady on, the MT130U is connected to the
Internet.
6 Managing the MT130U
Logging In to the Web Configuration Page
You can view and change the parameters of MT130U after logging in to the web configuration
page.
To log in the web configuration page, do the following:
Step 1 Set the network connection of your computer and ensure that your computer obtains
an IP address automatically.
Step 2 Launch the Internet Explorer on your computer.
Step 3 Enter http://192.168.100.1 in the address bar, and then press Enter.
Restarting the MT130U
You can restart the MT130U by pressing the Reset button on the rear panel.
To restart the MT130U, use a pin or paper clip to press and release the Reset button within five
seconds.
Restoring the Default Settings
Be careful with this operation. After the MT130U is restored to default
settings, all your personal settings will be lost.
You can quickly restore the default settings of the MT130U by pressing the Reset button on the
rear panel after the MT130U is powered on. To restore the default settings, use a pin or paper
clip to press and hold the Reset button for longer than five seconds, and then release the button.
