7 Installation
9.
Strip the insulation from the infrastructure
cable to a length of 25 cm. The minimum
length after the stripped section depends on
the direction from which the infrastructure
cable comes: below, rear (see
above (see
figure
3).
10.
If the cable comes from below, run the cable
directly to the housing opening provided.
The freely available cable length including
the stripped section (25 cm) must be 41 cm.
11.
If the cable comes from the rear, position
the cable outlet from the wall level with the
lower right mounting and horizontally cent-
red with respect to the wallbox housing.
The freely available cable length including
the stripped section (25 cm) must be 36 cm.
See
figure
2.
12.
If the infrastructure cable comes from
above, route the cable as shown. See
3.
The freely available cable length including
the stripped section (25 cm) must be 83 cm.
7.2 Installing the Wallbox
DANGER
Danger during assembly and installation
If components are damaged during assembly and
installation, there is a risk of serious injuries.
n
Stop any further work.
n
Notify technical service.
ATTENTION
Possible damage to ribbon cable
Carrying out work without due care can damage
the ribbon cable (see
figure
2),
n
Perform all assembly and installation acti-
vities carefully.
1.
Mark the 4 mounting holes on the wall using
the drilling template.
2.
Drill the mounting holes in the wall as mar-
ked.
3.
Insert the plugs for the hanger bolts.
DANGER
Risk of death due to electric shock
n
There must not be any live cables at
the attachment points where the fixing
screws are fitted.

Note
The plugs must be selected by the instal-
lation engineer using the hanger bolts sup-
plied and the wall condition.
4.
Screw in the hanger bolts so that they pro-
trude at least 6 cm from the wall.
5.
Pierce the cable entry grommet (KEL-SCDP
40) with a slotted screwdriver and cut to the
required size as specified in the cross-sec-
tion table using side cutters.

The designated position for the cable entry
grommet (KEL-SCDP 40) is pre-drilled.
Insert the cable entry grommet (KEL-SCDP
40) so that the sealing lips enclose the inside
and outside of the rim.
Pull the infrastructure cable through the
cable entry grommet on the rear of the Wall-
box (1). See
figure
4.
Mount the Wallbox on the 4 mounting bolts
using the holes on the rear (2). See
To seal it, place 4 rubber seals and then 4
flat washers on the 4 hanger bolts and
secure each with a nut (with a torque of 3-4
Nm). See
