1. Align sensor with background and press teach-in button (approx. 1 to 3 seconds)
until the yellow LED flashes.

2. The conveyor belt should now be put into operation without any objects. If the
yellow LED lights up permanently during the test run, the sensing range is set
correctly. If an object is located in the light beam, the yellow LED goes out.
3. If the yellow LED does not light up briefly during the test run, reduce the sensing
range minimally by rotating the Teach-Turn adjustment. This increases the mini‐
mum object height accordingly. Then check the detection with the object.
NOTE
After teach-in, approx. 1/3 of the linear light spot must be covered for the sensor
to switch. The sensitivity can be adjusted by turning so that the sensor also
switches with less coverage.
