Before use, always check that the appliance, plug and power cord are
in good condition

The appliance must be used under normal operating conditions as
defined in these instructions.

Never allow water to get into the appliance.
•
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.

Never insert objects into the appliance (e.g. needles...).

Children should be supervised to ensure they do not put their fingers
through the safety grids.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.

Your appliance must be unplugged before any maintenance.
•
For maintenance and adjustment operations, please refer to the user
guide supplied with the manual.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
APPLIANCE(S) WITH REMOTE CONTROL (VU/VF444x):
•
The remote control uses 1 x 3 V button cell (CR2025).
•
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity as shown in the
battery compartment.
•
The battery terminals must not be short-circuited.
•
Keep away from fire.
•
IMPORTANT: you are advised to switch off and unplug the appliance
when not in use. When storing the appliance for a longer period of
time, please remove the batteries from the remote control.
• Put the appliance in standby mode and unplug the appliance from the mains prior to replacing the battery.
• Follow the battery manufacturer's instructions when installing new batteries.
• Please find more information in the User Guide document to activate the battery.
