IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1.
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning.
2.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
3.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
4.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
5.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
6.
Waning: risk of injury in case of misuse.
7.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
8.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that
move in use.
9.
Make sure that the operating voltage indicated on the appliance is the same as supply voltage in your home.
10.
To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse any part of this appliance into water or any
other liquid.
11.
Unplug from outlet while not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
12.
Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from
beaters, dough hooks, and blade of the blender foot during operation to reduce the risk of injury to person
and/or damage to the hand mixer.
13.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug after the appliance malfunctions, or if it is
dropped or damaged in any manner. You should contact an approved service centre.
14.
Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
15.
Never fit accessories with different functions at the same time (dough hooks and beaters etc.)
16.
Do not use this appliance outdoors or for commercial purposes. This unit is intended for household use only.
17.
Remove beaters from hand mixer before washing.
18.
Do not allow the power cable to hang down within reach of children.
19.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair
or adjustment.
20.
The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
21.
Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the appliance. There are no user serviceable parts.
22.
The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer-switch or by means of a separate system
with remote control.
23.
This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
24.
Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which come in contact with food, speed settings and
operating times, please refer to the below paragraph of the manual.
