FUNCTIONS DESCRIPTION
DRY IRONING
Bring the iron upright.
Turn the steam control to the OFF position
position.
Plug in the iron and preheat it until the light goes out.
Now you can start dry ironing.
SPRAY BUTTON
Before using the spray function, check the ironing instructions on the fabric label as some may get
stained.
The spray function is particularly useful for removing stubborn creases.
The spray can be used with steam or dry ironing.
Make sure the water tank is at least 1/4 full. Just press the spray button and the water will be
sprayed from the water spray nozzle.
Warning: the water spray should not be used with silk.
STEAM IRONING
The steam function provides steam to remove normal creases.
1)
Fill the iron with water as described in the paragraph "HOW TO FILL THE TANK WITH WATER".
Turn the steam button to the OFF position
2)
Bring the iron upright, then plug it into the electrical outlet.
3)
Turn the temperature control knob to the desired position according to the fabric to be ironed
as described under "SETTING THE TEMPERATURE".
4)
The indicator light will go out when it reaches the correct temperature.
5)
Turn the steam control to the ON position
ironing.
BURSTING STEAM IRONING
The steam jet function provides powerful steam to remove stubborn creases.
1)
Fill the iron with water as described in "How to fill the water tank". Turn the steam control to
the OFF position.
2)
Place the iron vertically, then plug it into the electrical outlet.
3)
As indicated on the temperature control knob, steam ironing is only possible at higher
temperatures indicated with the "MAX" sign, otherwise the water will run out of the soleplate.
4)
Turn the temperature adjustment knob to the position according to the fabric to be ironed as
