Montage (deutsch)
Rohroberfläche im Bereich der
Rohrkupplung

Schmutz,
Rost und nicht haftenden Be-
schichtungen befreien (ev. mit
Drahtbürste). Bei stark korrosi-
ven oder porösen Oberflächen
Rohroberfläche im Bereich der
Dichtlippen mit Gleitfett bestrei-
chen (STRAUB Zubehör).
Vergewissern Sie sich, ob sich
der Rohrdurchmesser mit dem
Kupplungsdurchmesserbereich
deckt. Rohrdurchmesser durch
Umfangmessung bestimmen.
Kupplungsverschluss
Falls notwendig, Verschluss-
schrauben leicht lösen, jedoch
nicht ganz herausschrauben.
Gehäuse aufbiegen und hand-
griffseitig voran das Gehäuse
und die Manschette unter dem
Rohr durchschieben.
Dichtmanschette und Gehäuse
dabei
möglichst
nicht
schmutzen
(Verschmutzungs-
schutz am Boden).
Dichtmanschette in das Ge-
häuse unter dem Schrauben-
halter schieben. Darauf achten,
dass
die
Gummimanschette
sauber zwischen den Gehäu-
seränder positioniert wird.
Durch gegenseitiges Ziehen am
Schraubenhalter und Montage-
griff wird das Gehäuse enger
um das Rohr gebogen.
Achtung: Schraubenhalter wie
abgebildet tangential zum Ge-
häuse ziehen, nicht schräg zum
Körper!
Installation (english)
In the area of the pipe coupling,
remove any dirt, rust, and loose
coating from the pipe surface
(use a wire brush as applicable).
For heavily corroded or porous
surfaces, apply sliding grease
on the pipe surface in the area
of the sealing lips (STRAUB ac-
cessory).
Make sure that the pipe diame-
ter matches the diameter range
of the coupling. Determine the
pipe diameter by measuring the
circumference.

Open the coupling lock. When
necessary, slightly lose the lock
bolts, but do not remove them
completely.
Bend the casing open and, with
the handle ahead, move the
casing and the sleeve below
the pipe to the other side of the
pipe.
Avoid
contamination

(cover soil to prevent contami-
nation).
Push the sealing sleeve into the
casing below the bolt bracket.
Ensure that the rubber sleeve is
properly positioned between the
casing edges.
By alternately pulling at the bolt
bracket and assembly handle,
the casing is bending more
closely around the pipe.
Caution: Pull the bolt bracket
tangentially to the casing as
shown, not diagonally to the
body!
Montage (français)
Nettoyer la surface du tuyau au
niveau du raccord (éventuelle-
ment à l'aide d'une brosse mé-
tallique) pour éliminer la saleté,
la rouille et les revêtements non
adhérents. Si les surfaces des
tuyaux sont très corrosives ou
poreuses, enduire la zone des
lèvres d'étanchéité avec de la
graisse (accessoire STRAUB).
Vérifier que le diamètre du
tuyau est compatible avec le
diamètre du raccord. Détermi-
ner le diamètre du tuyau en me-
surant sa circonférence.
Ouvrir la fermeture du raccord.
Si nécessaire, dévisser les vis
de fermeture légèrement, sans
les dévisser complètement.
Étirer le corps du raccord et
faire passer le corps et la man-
chette sous le tuyau, côté poig-
née vers l'avant.

Ce faisant, veiller à ne pas salir

d'étanchéité dans le corps du
raccord sous le porte-vis. Veiller
à positionner correctement la

Tirer en sens inverse le porte-
vis et la poignée de montage
pour resserrer le corps du rac-
cord autour du tuyau.
Attention: tirer le porte-vis
tangentiellement
au corps du raccord, comme
montré sur la photo, et non en
biais par rapport au corps!
