B. Tips for use
Turn the appliance on before inserting the food.
• Always choose fresh fruits and vegetables and wash them thoroughly.
• Peel citrus fruits, watermelons, pineapples, cucumbers, etc.
• Remove the stones from cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, etc.
• Juice cannot be extracted from bananas, avocados, papayas, mangos, aubergines, as
they are not water-based foods.
• Cut the fruits and vegetables so that they can be inserted into the feed tube.
• Never push food into the juicer with your hands or with other objects; only use the
pusher.
• After blending 500 grams of grapes or tomatoes, clean the filter.
• Once the filter becomes misshapen, do not use it any more and replace it with another.
• To extract the maximum amount of juice, always press the pusher down slowly.
• The juicer is not suitable for processing very hard and/or fibrous/starchy fruits or
vegetables such as sugar cane.
• Apple juice may turn brown quickly. A few drop of lemon juice will slow down the process.
• Drink the juice immediately after you have extracted it, if it is exposed to air for some time,
the juice will lose its taste and nutritional value.
