7. Troubleshooting
Problem
The Smart Smoke Detector does not
go off when testing
The app panel keeps showing "Smoke
detected!", even when the smoke is
gone and the alarm has been muted.
The Smart Smoke Detector beeps
every 40 seconds
The alarm triggers intermittently or
when residents are cooking or taking
showers, etc.
The Smart Smoke Detector does not
connect to the Hombli app
Solution
Make sure the device is turned on (step 1). Now press and hold
the Hombli logo again to test. If this does not work, contact our
customer service.
To reset this app panel manually, conduct a manual test (step 3)
or wait for the automatic weekly test.
1. Clean the device (according to step 5)
2. If the beeping continues, the device is malfunctioning. Replace
the device or contact our customer service.
