4. USE
Carefully review the safety information (Section 1) before you start using the
appliance.
4.1 SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
You can set the temperature of the appliance by turning the thermostat button.
• The thermostat can be set to four positions: 'OFF',
'COOL', 'NORMAL' and 'COOLER'.
• Turn the knob to 'COOL' and the temperature
increases.
• Turn the knob to 'COOLER' and the temperature
drops.
• The recommended setting is 'NORMAL'.
• Turn the dial to 'OFF' to turn the appliance off.
The internal temperature of the appliance may vary due to the ambient
temperature, the amount of products stored and the frequency with which the
door is opened.
Note
The thermostat setting 'COOLER' is suitable when the ambient
temperature is below 16°C, but this can lead to ice formation if the
appliance continues to run at such a setting for a long time below the
normal ambient temperature, which is a normal phenomenon. In this
case we recommend setting the appliance to a higher temperature
(position 'COOL', 'NORMAL') provided that the articles in the
appliance allow this.
