CLEANING

Keep the device away from water or other liquids, otherwise an electric shock
or short circuit may result.
CAU TION
Keep your fingers away from the sharp edges of the blades to avoid injury.
NOTICE
Do not use aggressive solvents/cleaning agents, brushes, sharp objects or similar
for cleaning. These can damage the surface.
After each use, remove oil and hair from the clipper with a dry cloth and the cleaning brush. Finally,
oil the blades as described in section 7.3.
Also clean the head and the air filter regularly.
8.1
CLEANING THE CLIPPER HEAD
Clean the clipper head regularly. The cleaning cycle depends on the frequency of use. Clean the
head as soon as the blades are changed at the latest.
CAU TION
Keep your fingers away from the sharp edges of the blades to avoid injury.
1. Switch off the clipper and disconnect the clipper from the power supply.
2. Remove the blades as described in section 7.4.
The inside of the clipper head is exposed.
3. Clean the inside of the head and the blades thoroughly with the cleaning brush.
4. After cleaning, reinstall and oil the blades as described in section 7.4.
8.2
CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
Clean the air filter regularly. The cleaning cycle depends on the frequency of use. Clean the air
filter as soon as you detect any contamination in the air filter at the latest.
1. Switch off the clipper and disconnect the clipper from the
power supply.
2. Remove impurities around the air filter.
3. To clean the air filter (5), push the air filter (5) out and clean
the filter with the enclosed cleaning brush (fig. 6).
N OTICE
Make sure that no foreign bodies or impurities enter
the machine during cleaning.
4. Put the air filter (5) back into the clipper.
WA R NI N G
Do not use the clipper without an air filter.
