Troubleshooting Guidelines

No Sound / Not Loud Enough:
•
Ensure the battery is inserted and the battery
compartment door is fully closed.
•
Replace the battery.
•
Ensure that there is no wax or debris built up; clean or
replace the earwax filter as instructed in this manual.
•
Excessive earwax can prevent sound from entering the ear.
•
Ensure the hearing aid is placed in the proper position
and the dome is placed properly into the ear canal.
•
Changes in your hearing loss can affect how you hear
with a hearing aid.
Whistling/Feedback:
•
Ensure the hearing aid is properly positioned behind the
ear and the ear dome is inserted into the ear canal.
•
Excessive earwax, a receiver unit that is not the proper
size can cause whistling. Contact your Sonetik Specialist.
Sound is Distorted or Unclear/Intermittent Sound:
•
Replace the battery.
•
Your hearing aid may have poor battery contact.
Return the hearing aid to your Sonetik Specialist.
•
Ensure that there is no wax or debris built up; clean or
replace the earwax filter as instructed in this manual.
