Cleaning the external surface
To protect the external surface of the hood from corrosion over a long period of time, it should be
cleaned with hot water plus non corrosive detergent every two months.
Keep the motor and other parts free from water, as this will cause damage to the appliance.
The charcoal filter shall not be exposed to heat.
Replacing the grease and charcoal filters
The grease filter and the charcoal filter supplied on this hood cannot be washed or regenerated; they
need to be replaced regularly (depending on the frequency of use, between once a month and 2-3 times
a year).
Replacing lamps
Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Warning! Prior to touching the light bulbs, ensure they are cooled down.
Replace the old light bulb with the one of the same type:
Use E14 3W max LED lamps only. For more details, check enclosed leaflet "ILCOS D" (alfanumeric
position "1d").
If the lights do not work, make sure that the lamps are fitted properly into their housings before you call
for technical assistance.
