6. Initial use
Warning
• Position yourself on a dry, non-conductive surface. Risk of electric shock!
• Make sure that your hands are dry! Risk of electric shock!
• Your hair must be dry! Risk of electric shock!
• The device can become very hot. When the device is hot, it must only be held using the handle [6] – risk
of burns and fire!
• Do not touch the hot plates [1]. Risk of burns!
• Do not wedge any objects between the hot plates [1] and the heating tube and the clip piece.
• Switch the device off immediately if it is faulty or not working properly.
• Place the multi-functional styler with the support stand [13] folded out on a stable, horizontal and
non-flammable surface, or hold the multi-functional styler in your hand. Risk of fire!
• Always allow the connected attachment to cool before removal – risk of burns!
Important
• Untangle the mains cable [9] if it is twisted.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable [9] and do not pull or route it over/on sharp, pointed objects or
hot surfaces.
• Do not trap the mains cable [9] in drawers, doors, between the hot plates [1], etc. Damaged or tangled
mains cables increase the risk of electric shock!
Changing attachments
> Select the appropriate attachment for the desired
hairstyle [12, A, B, C].
> Turn the locking ring [10] fully clockwise. The connected attach-
ment is released.
> Take the attachment off the handle [6].
> Align the selected attachment as shown in the image.
> Without tilting the two metal pins, carefully slide the selected
attachment into the handle [6].
> Turn the locking ring [10] fully anti-clockwise. The attachment is
locked in place.
> Check that the attachment is firmly secured to the handle [6].
Setting the temperature
The sliding switch [5] allows you to choose between two temperature settings. We recommend the follow-
ing temperature setting depending on your hair type:
