Operation
Attention!
Observe the following instructions to prevent the risk of
injuries and damage to the device:
1. Never lay down the device on its side in its hot operative

Initial operation
1. Plug the mains plug (3) into a protective earth conductor outlet.
2. Switch on the device at the on/off switch (4).
The digital display (8) lights up in blue. After the working temperature has
been reached and a waiting time has elapsed, the display colour changes
to green. The device is now ready for operation. The digital display shows
the actual temperature of the applicator and the adjusted temperature
when the Set key (7) is pressed. The device heats up immediately.
3. Liquid adhesive may emerge from the nozzle if the adhesive candle is al-
ready inserted. Therefore, place the device on a suitable surface. Allow the
device to heat up for approx. 6 - 8 minutes (depending on adhesive type).
4. Insert the hot melt adhesive candle through the opening on the back of the
device.
