6.3 Cleaning surfaces
Important! You can use the brushing wheel (6) to
clean castings, fi les, bolts, threads or other sturdy
items. The brushing wheel can also be used to
remove rust or old paint from surfaces.
To clean the workpiece in question, place
it on the workpiece support (7) and slowly
guide it at the desired angle towards the brus-
hing wheel (6) until it makes contact.
For the best possible results move the work-
piece back and forth while applying slight
pressure.
Caution!
If the grinding wheel / brushing wheel becomes
jammed during operation, move the workpiece
away and wait until the machine reaches its top
speed again. You might need to guide the workpi-
ece towards the grinding wheel / brushing wheel
with less force.

8.1 Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
