CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
CAUTION
- Remove the plug from the outlet before emptying the dust container or cleaning the filters.
- Empty the dust container regularly, or, at the latest, when the dust in the container reaches the MAX mark.
- The filters must be cleaned regularly in order to prevent overloading the motor.
- The HEPA filter should not be cleaned with water. Use a brush or a dry cloth.
- The dust container and all filters must be completely dry before you insert them into the appliance for use.
- Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the vacuum cleaner as they could damage the surface.
EMPTYING THE DUST CONTAINER
Hold down the release button on the handle of the dust container and remove the dust
1
container from the vacuum cleaner.
Hold the dust container over a dustbin and press the release button to open the bottom cap
2
of the dust container.
3
Carefully tap the side of the dust container.
4
Close the bottom cap of the dust container. You should hear a click when it is locked in place.
For a more thorough cleaning of the dust container, the filter unit can be removed from the
5
dust container. There is an arrow mark on the side of the container.
If the filter unit is inserted correctly in the dust container, the upper arrow points towards
6
the lower white arrow.
To remove the filter unit, turn the dust container lid until the upper arrow points towards
7
the lower empty arrow.
8
Pull the filter unit up and out.
Clean the dust container and the filter unit if necessary with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
9
Then wipe with a dry cloth.
When cleaning the container, make sure the HEPA filter does not get wet (see "Cleaning
10
the HEPA filter").
