Switching the system on or off
system is in the same network.
Ports for USB devices
You can connect external USB drives to the USB ports or a USB printer
which will be available to all the users in the local network.
The USB port on the front of the server can also be used for the one-
touch copy function.
NOTE!
Before using the one-touch copy function, please read
the relevant instructions in "Copying files with the OTC
button" on page 74
9. Switching the system on or off
To switch the LifeCloud system on, press the on/off button for about 3
seconds until you hear a short beep.
The operating system of the LifeCloud system will boot up. Afterwards,
LED 3 lights up permanently blue.
10. Initial operation
NOTE!
Make sure that no devices are connected to the USB
ports of the LifeCloud system before initial start-up.
Before you use the product for the first time, you are required to
enter a name for the LifeCloud system and to set up a user account via your
browser (on your computer or smart device).
