Cleaning process
General advice
- The robot must be used in clean water.
- The pH-value of the pool water should be between 7.0 and 7.4.
- When commissioning the pool after winter storage, the floor must be cleaned for the first time with a landing net or vacuum cleaner before the robot is used.
The pool cleaner works according to the chaotic cleaning principle, which means that it automatically changes direction as soon as it touches the pool wall (or rises up and down for
pools with a curved bottom). As soon as the pool cleaner reaches the water line it cleans it.
Depending on the situation, the cleaner can clean the same area for up to one minute. After this time, it continues to clean automatically and therefore cleans the entire pool
automatically.
After the work cycle is complete, turn the cleaner off and gently pull the rope parallel towards the pool wall. Use the handle (not the cable!!) to lift the device out of the water. Hold the
cleaner above the water for 10-15 seconds to allow the water to drain from the device.
Cleaning the water line
The following steps are not required if the cleaner climbs the pool cleaner walls easily.
However, if it is difficult for the pool cleaner to climb the pool walls and clean the waterline, please use the two foam blocks (or four if required) included in the delivery, which give the
pool cleaner an additional buoyancy when climbing the pool walls.
• Open the two filter covers
• Remove the adhesive protection films and stick one foam block on both inner sides of the cover
• If the buoyancy is not yet sufficient, use the two additional foam blocks
Note:
Periods out of use
