Preheating setting
PrHEAT>***
Use to turn ON/OFF preheating when the unit is off.
o Due to the nature of the crystal oscillator (OCXO), continuous
operation stabilizes the precision of operation, so we recommend
turning this ON.
OFF
The POWER button turns the crystal oscillator (OCXO) on/off with
the unit.
ON
This turns the power for the crystal oscillator (OCXO) on regardless
of the POWER button setting. This shortens the amount of time
until the oscillator stabilizes after the unit is turned on.
o When the unit power is off, clock is not output even though
the crystal oscillator (OCXO) is operating.
o If the crystal oscillator (OCXO) is always on, the unit will con-
sume considerably more power when the unit is off.
Reference clock setting

The built-in crystal oscillator (OCXO) is used for the reference
clock.
EXT10M
The 10MHz reference frequency input through the reference fre-
quency input (EXT IN) connector is used for the reference clock.
