2. Intended use
This code lock is designed to secure doors against unauthorised entry (e.g. office,
lobby areas etc). A maximum of 99 users with different codes can be saved to the unit.
It is suitable for connection to electric door openers which have an operating voltage
of 12 to 24 V (AC/DC).
In addition this code lock has an Alarm Outlet (3) (circuitboard label: "AL OUT"; e.g. for
connecting a door magnet contact NC) and an Alarm Inlet (5) (circuitboard label: REED;
e.g. for connecting a door magnet contact NC).
The code lock is to be operated solely with 12 to 24 V (AC/DC) voltages. The code lock is
manufactured to protection category IP65 and is therefore appropriate for unprotected
outdoor areas.
Use other than that described above will lead to damage of the product and may also
involve additional risks such as short circuits, fire, electric shocks etc. The safety in-
structions must be adhered to! No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt.
The safety instructions must be followed unconditionally!
3. Explanation of symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of
an electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk in handling, ope-
rating and control.
The "Arrow" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
