■ Do not spray any cleaners directly on the device. Do not use any glass cleaners.
■ Do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads for cleaning. They
could damage the surface. Do not use any metallic objects.
• After each use, remove all leftover food from the baking sheet, the grate, pizza
stone and crumb tray. Clean them with a mild detergent and warm water or in the
dishwasher.
• When needed, clean the outside and inside of the oven (including the covers of the
heating elements) with a damp cloth and wipe the surfaces off afterwards. You can
also use a cleaner suitable for ovens. Please follow the operating instructions for the
cleaner in the process.
• Let all parts dry completely before putting them back into the oven.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

Possible cause/solution
• Has the timer been turned on?
• Is the mains plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Extend the baking time using the timer.
• Increase the temperature.
• The fi rst time you use the device: Residual coating
may cause a small amount of odour or smoke to
form. This is normal. Allow the device to heat up for
approximately 15 minutes (see section "Operation").
In the process, ensure that the room is well ventilated,
e.g. with windows that have been opened wide!
• The device has already been used: Is the inside of the
oven dirty or are the heating elements dirty? Follow
the instructions in the chapter "Cleaning".
