SELF-VERIFICATION AND
SYNCHRONISATION TEST
Before using the Syncro detector, a self-verification
test must be performed to ensure the two elements of
the detector are synchronised correctly and operating
properly i.e.:
-
The Transmitter - TX.
-
The Receiver - RX.
The concordance detector has an integrated electronic
device to verify that the indication, power supply and
synchronisation circuits for each element are operating
correctly.
The self-verification test is activated by holding down the
test button (4) for at least 1 second.
If it has been pressed correctly, the detector will start to
blink while it waits for the same process to be performed
on the RX.
-
If the self-verification is correct and the two devices
are communicating correctly, both will emit an
intermittent acoustic signal by means of the buzzer
(8); the green LED (7) will remain on while the blue
one (10) will flash, indicating the devices are
communicating correctly.
-
If the self-verification is not correct or the devices
have not synchronised after (approximately) 30
seconds, the red LEDs (6) will flash and the detector
will disconnect.
