V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
1. This submersible pump can be used for domestic, industrial or farming applications, for pumping
clear water with particles in suspension that are less than 0.2mm or 0.5mm in diameter (according to
pump model).
2. The pump is fully submersible: the immersion depth must not exceed 15m (refer to characteristics
table).
3. The pump should not be used for sucking up liquids or materials that are corrosive,
combustible/flammable or explosive.
4. The temperature of liquids sucked up should not exceed 35°C.
5. Any other use, other than that described in the instructions, is likely to damage the pump and to
put the user in serious danger.
5.2- Operation
1. Connect pump control box to mains power.
The pump will start and stop as soon as the switch is pressed.
2. Warning!
Never operate the pump without water.
Check the water level frequently while in operation, to see whether it is lowering and the pump shall
not be out of water while running.
The submersible pump must be immersed before switching on.
5.3- Advise for users
1. if discharge stops although the pump continues to function, switch it off immediately.
Unplug the pump from the mains and check to see what is causing the problem.
Never attempt to remove the turbine when the pump is still connected to the power supply.
2. The pump control box is protected by a thermal safety. In the event of overheating, the motor stops
automatically. As soon as the temperature returns to normal, press the reset button (5) to restart pump.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before any intervention on product, ensure that product is disconnected form its
power source.
6.1- Maintenance
1. The pump does not require specific cleansing.
2. However, if you remove pump for storage, rinse out the pump with clean water, including the
suction circuit.
3. Before each re-use, ensure that all parts of the pump are in good working order.
4. Do not use aggressive cleansers (solvents or abrasive cleansers), or an abrasive sponge or sharp
point scrapers.
5. Where there is the risk of freezing or the pump is not sufficiently submerged, the pump should
be removed from water, and emptied and kept in a dry place.
6. Do not let the pump submerged in water for a long time when unused, it should be cleaned in
running clean water for a few minutes on both inside and outside of the pump, then put it in a
room with good ventilation.
7. When the pump stops operation because of some trouble, you should cut off the power and find
out the reason. After the trouble is removed, the pump can be run again.
8. If some problems appear on both pump and motor, it must be repaired by experienced
technicians or send the pump to the maintenance department your dealer, otherwise we decline
responsibility.
