The stabilizer is only applicable at a mains voltage of 220 V, 50...60 Hz.
B. CONNECTIONS
Barth
The apparatus can be earthed via:
- the earth screw
at the rear;
- the rim earth of the mains
connector.
The circuit to be powered can be earthed via the earthed via the earth terminal
" = "at the rear
of the apparatus (at the bottom right).
2. Mains
Connect the apparatus to the mains via the mains flex (see also under III.A.).
3. Output
Note: When in operation none of the connections
in the circuits described
inb,
c, d, e and f below
may be disconnected.
a. Normal
use
The output voltage is taken from terminals
"+" and ''-" at the rear of the apparatus.
Terminal
3 of the terminal strip must be interconnected with terminal 4 and terminal
6 with
terminal 7 (see fig. 5a).
b. Remote sensing
If the instruments to be connected are ata large distance from the stabilizer,
the voltage loss
in the leads to the load must be compensated for in order to prevent adjusting errors at the
terminals
of the load.
