7.1 Descaling procedure

Fill the water tank with white vinegar (4%

acetic acid).
Put a paper filter in the filter holder to collect

the scale.
Let the appliance complete a brewing cycle.

Once the appliance is finished, switch it off.

Let it cool down for 3 minutes and remove

the paper filter.
Repeat step 1-5 once more.

Fill the water tank with fresh cold water.

Let the appliance complete a brewing cycle.

Once the appliance is finished, switch it off.

Repeat step 7 to 9 once more.

Note:

Repeat step 10 until the water in the jug no
longer tastes or smells like vinegar.
Clean the separate parts (see chapter

'Cleaning').
