machine if it is damaged or improperly adjusted.
7.1.2. SHARPENING THE BLADE
After using the bandsaw for some time, if you see
the blade has dulled, sharpen it using a soft and fine-
toothed file.
7.2. PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Perform regular inspections of the machine in order
to ensure effective operation of the machine. For a
complete maintenance service, we recommend you to
take the lawnmower to your service technician.
7.2.1. CHANGING THE HYDRAULIC'S OIL
WARNING! You must not throw old oil in a pipeline
network or on the Earth. The contamination of
groundwater and water tables is subject to heavy
fines. There are special collection places at service
stations. If not, any municipal authority will give you
the relevant information.
Change the hydraulic oil after every 150 hours of use.
Perform the following steps to change the oil:
1. Make sure that all moving parts of the machine are
stopped and that it is unplugged.
2. Place a container with a capacity to store the oil
used in the bandsaw (5 liters) next to the drain
screw.
3. Unscrew the screw oil drain and wait until all of
the oil from the inside has been.
4. Push the blade until it reaches the bottom to
ensure that all the oil comes out.
5. Screw on the drain screw.
6. Unscrew the filler cap (9) and refill with 4 liters of
new hydraulic oil.
7. Clean the oil screw rod and place it in the oil tank
to check the oil level.
8. Be sure that the oil has enough level so the rod is
spotted with oil between the two marks.
Periodically check the oil level and make sure that it is
between the two marks on the dipstick. If it is below
the lowest you should oil-filled.
For a correct operation of your bandsaw with hydraulic
transmission system use an oil hydraulic device with
properties anti-wear, anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion,
high viscosity, low freezing point and good anti-foam
and viscosity ISO HM22.
