An 82 kΩ resistor is connected to the ECO900 frost protection control unit.

You can remove the resistor and connect an air temperature sensor (ECOA904) instead. In this
case the air temperature is also shown on basic display mode in addition to the ground tem-
perature and humidity. If the air temperature drops rapidly, predicting the probable start of
rain, the heating will switch on for one hour below temperatures of +7 °C.
4. Technical data
The sensor is equipped with a heating element which melts ice and snow gathered on the sensor.
Additionally, the sensor has an NTC resistor to measure the sensor surface temperature as well as
two metal pipes as humidity sensors (figure 1).

5. Maintenance
Please clean the surfaces of the sensors at regular intervals. Dirt on a sersor surface will prevent its
proper function.

Paigaldusjuhend
1. Üldine
ECOA903 on vihmavee rennidesse paigaldatav lume- ja jääandur, mis ühendatakse ECO900 jää-
tumiskaitse termostaadi külge. Anduris on väike soojendustakisti, mis hoiab anduri pinna püsivalt
umbes +4°C temperatuuri juures. Andur sulatab pinnale kogunenud lume ja jää, mille tuvastab ni-
iskusena.
ECO900 jäätumiskaitse termostaadil on mudelid 1 ja 2.
MUDEL 1
2. Andurite paigaldamine
•
Soojendustakistiga lume- ja jääandur ECOA903 paigaldatakse küttekaablite vahele vihmavee
renni ja kinnitatakse kaabliklambritega või liimiga (ei tarnita koos seadmega).
•
Andur ei tohi kokku puutuda küttekaablitega.
